Natalija,

I don't have a lot of personal experience with front-loading washers, but I'm guessing that however you wash your regular clothes would be very similar to how you wash your diapers. To clarify, once my daughter started eating solid food, I no longer dumped everything in the washer anymore. I dump the solid matter into the toilet, and I rinse any residue with one of these really handy gadgets: http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/mini-shower-spray-wand I really hope this helps, Natalija. Thanks for commenting! :)

Thanks for the tutorial. I just using cloth diapers with my 6th baby (posted about it on my website), but I live in Europe and we have only front-loading machines. Do you have any special recommendations? I do wash all the soiled diapers first by hand to remove all poop before putting it into the pail, since obviously I can't just dump the content in the front-loader.

Hi Kat,

Sure. Why not? Many times, if you have dry towels, you can throw them in the dryer with the clean, wet diapers and it speeds up the loading time pretty considerably.

Hope this helps you. :)

Is it ok to throw in the cloth diapers in the dryer along with other clothes? Just to save on electricity and time?
