To all my friends out in blogland, I want to wish you a very joyous 2008. This holiday season has been full of many new connections and experiences in my personal life, which is partly the reason why I haven’t been blogging lately. It’s been an education, and I feel very hopeful in this new year. One of the things I’m hoping to focus on is to move away from consumerism and toward something more sustainable. There may be changes made to my online store in order to reflect this new reality. While I’m working things out on that end, I will be keeping things the way they’ve been for the meantime. I would like to keep donating at least 10% of all the profits made to various non-profit organizations, so that won’t change, but I’m not sure at the moment which non-profit organization to choose for the month of January. I have some posts brewing in my head, so I will be blogging in the new year… However, my primary focus will be my real life, because the virtual one, though useful and interesting (and with so many brilliant, compassionate, and amazing people doing incredible things all over the world), is not nearly as rich. I hope most of you feel the same way about your real lives, that you can give yourself permission to enjoy them and feel fulfilled.
Happy New Year, all!
